As the world 🌎 is, now!

Okay, here we are, blogging at BLOGGER/Blogspot, after an absence of at least  12 years.

I have just updated my BLOGGER profile, added a most recent picture of myself, taken on my 80th birthday 🎂 🥳 and should anyone find this blog online: please  do me a favour, and read it, so that one gets an impression of me  the blogger.

One more thing: I am listed here as NON PROFIT, because it is the best option I could choose from the drop down list.

It also means: I intend to write ✍  and post 📫 because I like to, without any form whatsoever of *commercial* interest or benefit. 

And should I recommend or suggest something, I do that then because I LIKE it, or because the product, or the TOPIC is very good, interesting (in my opinion).

Note: I already created many different types of blogs here at BLOGGER, 15 years or so ago, and posted a lot in by-gone times. 

Some I might consider to be still COOL, others might disappear in the BLOGGER garbage 🗑 container, as obsolete, DONE.

Another thing: I do have my own .com!! How about it, eh? Bought it, paid for it, and then: OMG OMG I allowed WORDPRESS to *take care* of it.

Not really a mistake, however: no matter what I write there: it does NOT SHOW UP in the searchengines. My at WORDPRESS .com does, but the new articles do NOT.

OKAY: almost everyone these days appears to be an IT expert, webbuilder, or - designer,  but I am not. And also dealing with this long distance, by email, getting it explained by really nice patient WORDPRESS helpers DOES NOT WORK FOR ME.

Obviously I need a LOCAL IT genius. They do exist meanwhile in my backwaters of Turkey 🇹🇷. I just need a bit of time and *patience* to find the right guy or girl, and someone who is prepared to drive 🚗  all the way to my KAYAKOY *mansion* (or hovel).

At the moment: happy to write regularly at BLOGGER, and hopefully in the not to distant future: at www.willyholmesspoelder.com.

If the www.willyholmesspoelder.com is clickable after having posted this: you can see that it does open, but with an article from 2016, the G20 meeting hosted by the TR president in Antalya-Turkey. It was, absolutely, a great event, posted at the right moment in time, however NOW we live in the AFTER COVID PANDEMIC ERA, and regrettably in the VLADIMIR PUTIN hell  bent on destroying the UKRAINE period.

I am Dutch, also a Western European, and a concerned global citizen, hoping that the powers that be, shall somehow 🤔  manage to settle this using their intelligence. It is ghastly, my heart ❤  breaks, watching and listening to the daily accounts about or by those poor poor UKRAINIAN victims, losing loved ones.

Now, as a first attempt, this is going to get posted online.
